Spain is the third biggest country in Europe and it has a land area of 194,845 squared miles, to fit the different regions. It also has a coast line that spans 3,000 miles. Spain’s regions can be divided up into five different regions. The five regions are green Spain, inland Spain, the Pyrenees, Southern Spain, and Mediterranean Spain. Green Spain is located in the north and northwest parts of Spain. Green Spain is a wet and it has an evergreen climate. The coastline of green land Spain is rocky and has steep cliffs. Inland Spain has many plateaus but it also has a special one that is a giant plateau, it is called La Meseta. Inland Spain has a very dry climate like a desert. The Pyrenees is a mountain range that stretches 260 miles long. The mountains border Spain and France. The Pyrenees has rivers, glacial lakes, and small plains. Southern Spain is of course located on the bottom or on the south part of Spain. Southern Spain’s weather varies because there is a very snowy location in southern Spain, but there’s also a desert. Southern Spain goes all the way from the southeast borders to the southwest border. Mediterranean Spain has the cities of Valencia, Catalonia, and Murcia in side the Region that border the Mediterranean Sea. In Mediterranean Spain is a very tropical part of Spain and has few islands.
